The report of the first upchuck reached my eyes this morning just as my first spoonful of breakfast was entering my mouth. As I result, I ate less than usual, so perhaps it was a good thing...

Regarding your carpets, as someone who has had housefuls of cats and hairballs, I keep a Little Green Clean Machine in the house and I have found it quite effective if you get there fast enough.

BTW, the dog names I used are aliases.

I am so sorry about the dogs. Could they have picked up some new sort of worm form the visiting dog? I thought some worms can make dogs throw up. Maybe not- but I thought I'd mention it. Thought I read something about that recently. There are also some water parasites that can sicken them.
