not equity -- and you have to expect an upspike in put buying with any 200 pt dip in the DOW. When we really roll over -- even if it isn't until next year -- p/c will stick above 1 and stay there, but there won't be enough sold to protect from that ...

Trying to get a measurement on the Dow flag that formed on Thursday and Friday, I came up with 8390 measuring from Friday's high (a measured move), and 8257 using today's breakdown (the traditional bear flag target, measured from the breakdown point). I used the 8/27 midday high (8951) to the 8/29 low (8558) to get the target. cache.wsrn.com Using the 10 a.m. high on the 27th (9017) gives targets 66 points lower. FWIW.

despite the p/c -- there is much doubt concerning a further decline here. Every time we tick up in the least the index premies drop fast and they really aren't that high given where we are --

AA: your DOW target was pretty much destroyed. Does that change your scenario at all?
