Might be just my book talking there -- I am very long the miners.

When I was in college we had a friend of a friend come stay with us and he didn't have much money -- I swore he lived on Oats and Coffee ... that lifestyle is getting expensive today ...

SAF, I would suspect that owning gold stocks in the 80s was more respectable than now therefore I would guess that your average fund has less exposure now than in the 80s. You might want to confirm this with one of the old timers like Luc -g- Mike ho ho ho
