I lost money thinking that BNBN was going to destroy Amzn. What a mistake that was! We all learned along the way. At first I was a bit skeptical about how large the online book business could ever be. Certainly its size has exceeded my expectations. OTOH it was clear from the get go that this was a low margin business and said so here at the time. If they hadn't expanded so rapidly they would be posting small profits, and, IMHO, their sales would be comparable to current amounts, although the growth would have been a bit more back-ended of course....
