Secondly, do you know which people make up the sensitive groups? Its not just people with asthma, chronic bronchitis and emphysema. Its also children under 14 and the elderly. I assume you consider these people important and for them, orange days are "really bad" air days.

The reason why they are considered sensitive is that they can be effected by a lesser amount of pollution even when it isn't a really bad day.


Yes, for those who are egocentric, a bad day is only truly bad when its bad for them. I get your point.......you would like more specificity so that the rating system is tailored to your opinion of what's bad or what's good.

Talk to the EPA........they may be willing to work with you.
