Yes, just like your comment that we'd get the first-ever four-year cycle low without 90% downside days. -g-

The TRIN has had such wide, frequent swings since 1999 that the meaningful levels need to be recalculated. We've had 44 straight months with TRIN readings above 2.0. I count 8 in the 84 months before that.

Whether it's due to decimalization or preferreds or both, a high TRIN reading is no longer meaningful by itself, and the last couple of years have demonstrated that.
