If inventory is managed to a lower level it could also mean higher prices if the surge of activity is bigger than anticipated?!

I wonder if this lack of computer buying isn't more of a decline in upgrades - since many are just now beginning to enjoy "the more effective upgrade" as they switch to broadband.

As the better last mile becomes available - it is effectively doing more than a new box would for speed enhancements.

It must be deferring "box sales " - to some degree - perhaps higher than we give it credit for??
