Navy demands A-12 payments from Boeing, GD By August Cole
General Dynamics (GD: news, chart, profile) said Tuesday afternoon that the U.S.
Navy has told the defense contractor and Boeing (BA: news, chart, profile) that the pair
owe the government $2.3 billion within 30 days related to a past attack jet program, the
A-12, that never saw production. GD called the Aug. 30 request "an unseemly
negotiating tactic" that is interfering with a settlement currently in negotiation.
