Doesn't matter what he "said". The message is if we have to go to war with Iraq (a likely probability) the British nation will be there at our side. Most of the rest of Western Europe will have to follow by default, rather than get left off the winning side in the years-long war on terror that the Iraq action is a part of.

Europe has NO moral qualms about killing the sand rats of the ME, they are simply buying insurance in mid-hand...
