If I recall correctly, Iraq had already invaded Kuwait, and the Saudi's allowed us to use their land as a base, because it was apparent that they were also at risk of falling to Iraq. I have nothing against the Jews, and wish they could live where ever they wanted in peace. But that is not accomplished by shoving out the indigenous people and taking their homes and land. It is analagous to what the yugoslav's were doing, and for that matter what the U.S. did when we came to America and pushed our frontiers from coast to coast. Might doesn't make right. I agree that the vast majority of people over there are ignorant to us. Which is definitely an argument which goes to support the fact that democracies are not something one should wish for in the mid east. Anyway, they seem to want their mullah's, princes, tribal leaders,etc. to tell them what to do. It's my understanding that not all of Islamic people support the violence used against innocent people, but I doubt you would find a single Islamic person who does not view the state of Israel as being a non agressor. And you would have to admit, Israel has expansionist desires. There are so many people on the Palestinian Hoax thread who result to name calling and personal insults, that I think I shall not post there anymore. I'll answer your question with another question. Do you honestly think that the Jews can ever live in peace in the ME? And why is it necessary that the Jewish religion establish their own homeland. As I said before, I am not anti-semitic, one of best liked teachers in college was a female jew.
