The "One dumb thing after another, seems to hold true for our Political History. Yes I can believe that. However, I doubt these business people went out their way to protect innocent civilians on the Lucitania.... Like advising anyone that armaments were on board and the vessel would be a target for any German submarines. Lets just say "negligence". Criminal negligence. Let's put it this way. If you or I had loaded up the Lucitania with armaments, and it was sunk because of this, we would be thrown in jail faster then you can say "how's your father". And blamed for the incident too.
