I notice that the article states that the energy crisis started in 2000. Exactly what did the Clinton Administration do to ease the CA energy crisis from May 20, 2000 till Jan 19, 2001? What did the FERC do to ease the crisis, when Democrats had a majority of votes?

You complain about Cheney and Bush, but the gouging began during the Clinton Administration, and went basically unchecked till GWB's appointees were sworn in at the FERC.
