watch how future commentary presents the story of this disaster. There will be an attempt to blame it on "Climate Changes" and "Global Warming," FL. Everything that happens, hot, cold, wet or dry, gets slanted that way. The problem the "Global Warming" people have is that their computer projections are done with too little computer power, and false premises. They keep changing the projections to match up with what is really happening, and distorting stories. There is an enormous amount of time, money and reputations tied to "Global Warming," so you don't get an objective look at it. Weather has too many variables to stand up to our present attempts to analyze it.

I know there is a strong temptation to say this but government reports from Austria, the Czech Republic, and Germany all agree that the problem lies in bad land management practices upriver. This problem has also been called into question after the flooding in several regions of France, as well as recent flooding and the resulting deaths in Algeria. However, there's no question that there has been unusual rainfall as well (the storms and downed trees in France just before Y2K weren't the fault of waterway mismanagement !) but without the mismanagement of waterways and land these floods would have been much less severe.
