CFOE:

QCOM's market continues to grow in the US and Korea, there are huge growth opportunities in China and India, and as Thornly was pointing out, there is additional growth in the replacement handset market, w/ 3G technology, color screens, gps which translate to more expensive handsets and higher royalty growth as well! Add BREW (from 0 to 1.5 Million users in just a few months) which could represent $3-$4 per user per year to QCOM (more earnings growth!), and then WCDMA to replace 400 - 500 Million GSM subscribers over the next 10 years or so (new markets, though categorized as "replacement" handsets), and I think your starting to see the common thread here....growth, growth, growth!

And with this growth will be a lot of free cash flow...which QCOM is already thinking about what to do with. How many companies are strategizing today about what to do with all their FCF expected in the coming year or two?

How many Handsets do you think will be sold in 5 or 10 years with either CDMA-2000 or WCDMA technology in them? How many subscribers will be using BREW in just 2-3 years?
