What country on earth doesn't operate in "their best interest?" At least countries that are ethical and honest with their people. What other country on this planet has ever sent aid to the US? EVER? What other country on this planet sponsors organizations like Peace Corps to aid other people in developing countries. Wonder what would happen if the US just stopped. Stopped every kind of aid to which it gives each year to every country it gives funds/food/suplies. But, I just can't stand this notion that so many people have that the U.S. only acts out of altruistic concerns (sometimes we do), when it is really economic concerns that dictate most of our actions.
