Yeah, all the SI bugs are outta control. That PM bug gets me every time. Do you think they're ever going to fix them?

For public messages, I've found it works to check directly on the thread you're posting to when you get back an error indication, to see if the message was posted, before retrying. I haven't tried it, but it probably works to check in your outbox too, even for PMs.
