There you go again, GST. I didn't say anything about no UN involvement. See how you shift the argument?

To repeat: Blair spoke as European Union foreign ministers appeared to be moving toward bridging a gap with the Bush administration over a proposal for a U.N. Security Council resolution that would set a deadline for Iraq to readmit U.N. weapons inspectors unconditionally or face military action.

President George Bush signalled yesterday that he was prepared to back a last-ditch United Nations ultimatum to Saddam Hussein to accept stringent weapons inspections or face invasion.
