Let's hope he backpeddles all the way to making a deal with Saddam involving inspectors and lifting trade sanctions and declaring victory.

In case you mentally challenged liberals haven't noticed, Bush has the Senate right by the short hairs. The Daschle Democrats just spent a year showing the people what traitors they are-something the Democrat party has been trying to sneak away from since the 70's. Nobody gives a rat's ass whether the proof against Saddam is secret, whether Leahy can be told (knowing he'll leak it within 5 minutes) or whether it exists at all. NOBODY CARES! ALL the people know is that George Bush is the first president to actually value defending America since his father, and DASCHLE IS TRYING TO SCREW IT UP. That's the simple story, or, as Walkin' Boz Jimbo Carville would say, that's the bite. AND YOU CAN BITE ME, BUT YOU CAN'T BEAT THE BITE. So either the Senators vote him anything he asks for, or they watch the people march en mass to the polls in two months and throw out every Democrat on the ballot. And at this point they MIGHT just do it no matter HOW the Senate votes. People will be crawling out of sick beds to vote against their local Democrats, and yelling "LET'S ROLL!" while they do. What do you think Dasshole is going to do? Take a wild guess...
