Paul, The mentality of the American public may negate such thought. If so it will only prolong the recovery & growth. There was panic in 4/01 & 9-11. What we saw Mon may have just been the near end of those POed and may need bux soon. The majority that wanted/needed out may well be gone. The American public may have now ACCEPTED the mkt levels and moves. What I have heard NO ONE address is the days of the defined pension have passed. Even the federal govt eliminated civil service pensions for new employees in the mid-80s. All those w/o a defined pension, with anything more than 5 years until retirement, are of the most likely correct opinion they have no recourse but to be in the mkts & dollar cost avg their pension/401K/403B & etc plans. Thankfully, I do not have such concerns but have sympathy for those that want to see retirement before death.
