wow! just 1.8 million per year in a country will 1B people and a very education conscious middle-class. Hope this is not a typo. Given a middle class of atleast 80-100mil people who could afford a (low-end) PC, India has got to become a major hot spot for growth for Intel/AMD. Not sure what china's PC penetration is, but if it is comparable to India, I fail to understand why PC sales will mature worldwide any time soon.

Alas, things are different with corporate buyers here in the US...
