That is the kind of post I like to see. Good points. If I may add...in these rocky times, I am only comfortable with a 50% cash position...permanent. I only trade with about 25% and keep another 25% in high dividend paying closed end mutuals like MIN, PCN, JRS for tax free accounts and PCQ, NAC, and NCA in taxables. With the 25%, I buy with a holding period only as long as the trend continues. Lightened up on GG yesterday and folded into more PAAS and GLG for technical reasons...which I had predetermined before I entered/exited. Five to six trading positions is about all I can handle. wr
