"As far as I can see, the argument requires assuming that Saddam Hussein is suicidally irrational." How would it be "suicidally irrational" for Saddam to provide terrorists with WMD when Saddam knows his allies (like Bock and his friends) in the US will be arguing that the US cannot attack without "hard evidence" tying him to terrorist activity? How much more hard evidence will it take to convince them threats like this need to be pre-empted? 3000 more American victims? More? Why are Block (and those who spam his garbage) more willing to preserve a mass murdering dictator than American lives?
