All that from a man with nothing political to gain, nothing political to lose.

Only Shrub has something political at stake. And his solution to maintaining his regime is war.

Sarmad,
He makes good points as do others on the other side. The Iraq thing is real difficult. On the Israel/Palestine front he has been considered pro-Paletinian for some times. Some of his views are acceptable to me. But what about that 1300lb bomb today? What do you think those palestinians were targeting? As i said in earlier post, pals must eschew terror for Moral reason and adopt the Ghandi/MLK passive resistance model. Then the israelis will see the futility of the sharon policy. Sharon may see it too under those circumstances. And then there can be peace. But prereq is and always has been an end to terror, not a tactical end, but a moral decision made by arab people to protect their children as well as israelis from this great crime. mike
