Hop-On CEO Featured on CNNfn
Friday September 13, 12:46 pm ET

GARDEN GROVE, Calif., Sept. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Hop-On (OTC Bulletin Board: HPON), the leading developer of disposable and fully recyclable cell phones, today announced that Peter Michaels, the Company's Chairman and CEO, was featured on CNNfn this morning as part of the financial network's high-rated show Market Call. During the interview it was disclosed that Hop-On would commence the first phase of a multi-step national rollout next week in California. The Company will initially be working with a Fortune 500 retailer.

Well, that PR was 13 days ago, still no phones. Rumor on MSN message board is that the phones will be announced today or tomorrow (ie 9/27/02). The retailer will be Wallgreens. Sales to begin in Orange County, CA.

SmartMoney, Nov 2002 issue comments on Hop-On. Says phones will be available this month (Nov ?) at national retailers Best Buy and Target.

$40 will get you 40 national minutes. Additional time is 35-cents for the first 100 minutes, 25-cents per minute thereafter.

Appears they have established their pricing.
