Yes, it's in there all right, but IMO it would require a central figure to harness all the MFs under a single yoke to act this way in concert, and they would indeed have to act in concert -- we can't have Charley able to cash out while his neighbour Bob's fund chooses to restrict -- so no matter what the prospectus says, I think you can count on the government assuming control, with Wall Street more than happy to shift the apparent blame over to the feds for the whole idea of telling people that they can't have their money.

I hope we don't get the opportunity to test my theory, I'm quite happy with the slowly deflating airbag we have now
