That's exactly what he's saying. This is the basic premise of an unfortunate portion of the RWE electorate - it is all based on superficialities and imagery provided by the media, with no thought of substantive issues in any detail. Had anyone bothered to look, or even think a bit, they recognize the massive amount of GOP-sponsored pornography that was constructed to be gleefully distributed by the media. Purely for completely hypocritical ("we really want family values", and "no GOP ever diddled an intern") political purposes, the hyenas kept reducing American discourse to an animalistic level. About where it is now on Iraq, for example ("kill 'em all now!", versus "No, wait a little while, and THEN kill 'em!")
