Despite the evidence presented to the French, and presumably the Germans, too, they are not in favor of an attack on Iraq.

Unless there is something new, do you really think the Democrats will stray far from the Germans and the French?

On the other hand, it makes political sense to support Bush if you're a Demo., then look like a patriot if things turn out OK. It's Bush's screwup if it doesn't--the guns will be trained on him, not a congressman who voted with him.

If we have knowledge of a credible threat, it's "bombs away" as far as I'm concerned, the rest of the world be damned.
