Stan:

I am on a different tack this time. I am going to hang in there with decent positions for a spell. The just-underway Q3 warnings period should give us some decent "down" and erase most of the recent July/August rally. I also think investors arte going to start to get increasingly jittery as they digest the evidence that the 2002 selling season is going to be disappointing. Most of the stuff I look at suggests that the consumer just continues to pull in his horns (when even Walmart has crummy results,.....).

Of course, if it starts to go against me, I will "box" things in a nanosecond. (g)

Best, Earlie

Let's see how much of a rally mood they're in tomorrow once they start getting nervous again about holding over the weekend

It may not even take that long. Let's see what the employment number brings in the am.
