Unh, that was probably me -gg.

No telling where the stock will go until there next earnings report. But until then, it's a real good vehicle for covered calls.

chojiro,

Now who was it that told me a while ago that Tom has always been on the cautious side? I think it was Mike B.

I doubt it. If you can find the post you're referencing, I'll review it in context. If an apology is due, you'll get it from me.

My general impression is that Tom Siebel's guidance has been more realistic than many high-tech CEOs under the spotlight, especially with regard to the downturn in the IT sector. However, a general impression is very different from being "always" anything. Notable exceptions to my general impression:

1) He has almost always appeared as a cheerleader in the tone of his conference calls about earnings reports;

2) When it comes to anything he says about Larry Ellison, he has tended to be almost as immature as Ellison;

3) The most recent comment about expecting 25% - 30% growth one the economy turns around isn't enlightening, constructive, or substantiated; and

4) Most notable of all, his prediction that the Naz would be 10,000 in 2005 was an embarrassment to me, a shareholder, especially because it appears that it wasn't an embarrassment to him.

>> I've never eaten a rack o lamb

You need to fill that gap in your culinary education, Chojiro. Try it. It's tasty, and Mqurice will appreciate the contribution to his country's economy.
