re platinum -- when I looked into it -- I was a little shocked that jewelry was the largest use. Re gold: don't want to tell you how much I've allocated to miners -- it hurts when I get called a clown -- even if it is true <vbg>

Horgad,

The two largest platinum and palladium companies in the world stocks IMPAY and AAPTS have been sold off around 10% during the last few days as the gold stocks have been bought. Who knows what is going on.
