Howdy, Mo'rice

I thought we had declared deflation to be a phantasmagoria. I guess this Teutonic bean counter didn't get the word. Of course, if he's right then we're all in a for a lot of trouble-

I dunno about the deflation monster, but I do suspect there is a big real estate bubble that is about to blow. Especially in California. My place has gone up around 30% in the last 12 months. Ridiculous. I ought to sell and buy one of those cool places in Aukland. What will US$250,000 get me?

My sister's family was just down your way. They spent a couple of weeks in Australia. Sang in the Sydney Opera House (school choir). Brother-in-law took that walk on the cables of the suspension bridge. And they did get to see NZ from the airport.
