While I doubt we have been lied to, I think it is possible that Intel comes in closer to the bottom or the range than the top, and that insiders have a good feeling that this is a possibility. In truth, my big worry is the stuff they didn't say. They avoided talking about seasonality and gave no clue about Q4. I'm worried that they might release earnings in line with the reduced estimate for Q3 then guide down Q4 even more agressively. Obviously, not firm information from the CC to suggest this, but the fact that they kept it short and avoided talking about it too much does not give me the warm fuzzies. Bottom line is that I heard nothing to indicate a turnaround is on the horizon (not that I really expected to), and think the stock is probably overpriced unless one comes along soon. I doubt we'll get a major event to crush the stock, but can certainly see it continuing its slow downward grind. mg mg

Johnny boy...you best look back on how long I've been dead nuts on the INTC story. We're talking years pal...years. Go ask IKE what I've been saying about INTC over the last few years....he thought I was nuts, but I was Right...like BINGO, dead tit nipple on! Let me guess you've rode this sad horse all the way up and all the way down to 6 year lows today? Who's the genus? Do recall just a few months ago when it was 40...and I said 50% drop coming? Blind? Tunnel vision? In love with your pet stock? Now I've been on record for another 50+% drop from 20 to single digits & i'm 1/2 way home @ 15 while all along INSMELL lying ass mngmt has had to change there tune over and over and over again. My money's on ME!
