baron von surf- a little history for you, if you don't know scott mantz... he's traveled extensively around the world and seen first hand many underdeveloped clutures, their people, and their problems. he may not touch a million lives a year but he touches as many as he can. he built two wells in da lat vietnam this year for a minority village that was hand carrying water from a distant and dirty water supply. they now have two clean-water community wells for the first time ever. this should dramatically decrease the amount of dysentery, diarrhea, and other illnesses and deaths caused in the community in the past by unclean and contaminated water each year. the appreciation and outpouring of gratitude from the people of the village is a good asset for america - though our government had nothing to do with the project. he's founding a non-profit organization to continue these kinds of projects in vietnam and perhaps other countries where people haven't even the simplest basic needs to sustain life, healthy or otherwise. he's not just talk - and he's not a preacher, he's just a caring and hard working dude who does not care about his fellow man's nationality nearly as much as he cares about their well being. i admire the hell out of him. he pulls more than his share of the load in improving life on this planet - he does a good job. dissing his benevolent nature is low class. stoppit. thanks, -elpolvo
