Ol' Jay turns a clever phrase with the best of them. And he might be right concerning his predictions on free-trade blow back- but if he is, I think he's too early. It won't happen with this coming election, because there doesn't appear to be any unrest over free trade except among a small group of activists. But if there's another 9-11 scale attack, the whole mood of the country is liable to turn real ugly over open borders. So far that isn't the case.
