Martha is pretty hot. I will sacrifice a little dignity.

Bill Gross essay (continued)

Kb, I updated an Excel spreadsheet to show prices and dividend yields of individual Dow stocks at Dow 5500.

I would be happy to make that Excel analysis available to HTP members.

At Dow 5500, the dividend yield (based on current indicated annual dividends) would be 3.48%. P/E ttm would be 15.3, P/E forward (but who trusts the estimates???) would be 9.5 at Dow 5500. These totals are skewed by selected individual Dow stocks.

The following prices would result in a Dow 5500:

AA ---- $16.00
AXP --- $23.00
BA ---- $23.00
C ---- $12.00
CAT ----$30.00
DD --- $30.00
DIS --- $10.00
EK ---- $25.00
GE ---- $22.00
GM ---- $30.00
HD ---- $14.00
HON --- $25.00
HPQ --- $10.00
IBM --- $50.00
INTC -- $10.00
IP ---- $30.00
JNJ --- $20.00
JPM --- $15.00
KO ---- $30.00
MCD --- $20.00
MMM --- $85.00
MO ---- $36.00
MRK --- $40.00
MSFT -- $25.00
PG ---- $50.00
SBC --- $20.00
T ----- $6.00
UTX --- $33.00
WMT --- $26.00
XOM --- $26.00
Totals $792.00
