chojiro: Yes you are making a mistake. There is such a thing as pressing one's luck.

When one is absolutely convinced that he is right, he most likely is heading for a fall. Remember: a man's pride goes before his fall. So be careful. Don't press your luck. A gold coin does not fall from the sky two times in a row. There's always a little disappointment in between.
