I find lectures on partisanship from conservatives almost as amusing as the eternal whining about the "biased" NYT, as opposed to the endless quotations of (presumably objective, snort) bloviating pundits and warbloggers that flood this thread. "History" as written by conservative pundits has made Reagan into quite a secular saint. Personally, I'm happy to wait for the real historians to weigh in, Given W's lockdown on source materials, that may take quite a while longer, but it'll happen. Punditry and history are usually considered distinct disciplines. Well, one of them is considered a discipline, anyway.
