I guess after the 'whiskey and rye' the 'good ole boys' wouldn't know the difference anyhow ... I don't know. It's hard enough to spit out "Unitedstater" when you're sober. When you're sloshed, or otherwise encumbered, "Amercun" is much easier to articulate. I guess, over time, it might be shortened to "Staters" much like the "Redskins" are simply the "Skins." Or we could follow the T-Wolves model and get "U-Stater." "USers" might be possible with a load on. But definitely not "Unitedstaters."
