No. What YOU have to argue is that the novelist is ONE OF THE PEOPLE HE WRITES ABOUT. Fictional characters do not collect royalties...and they certainly don't "write"--LOL!!

That would be true if we were all writing fiction. I think what confuses people is they think they are writing "fact" about themselves- but (imo) they are not. They are telling their personal biased side of their life, as we all do. And it is always a work of part fiction, which we call truth.
