If you had died before i read this post, it would have the same impact on me, even though you, the poster, were dead. You are unnecessary to the post, after you have typed it. It takes on a print existence of its own, and is not you. That is the way I see it. You can see it differently, and I can understand that. I just do not see it the way you do. There is a real person. But only the person posting in the real person's body, knows that person. IMO

...but there is a real person posting this at the moment... There will come a time when you probably can't count on that. I think it's well within our vision that you could program a personality into a computer. You make it a RWE, quick to anger, sensitive about religion, mysoginist, etc., etc. The computer could formulate posts and respond appropriately to posts of others. I don't think this is any stretch of the imagination at all. I'm not sure that it couldn't be done right now.
