I understand your point, I think. I just see your distinction as a small, but important, one in the grand scheme of things. And you're making it into THE major organizing factor, a paradigm shift, a momentous distinction. It's like you want a new phylum or maybe a whole new kingdon and I'm looking at a new species--same thing only different, IMO.
