Congress Now Promises to Hold Weeks of Hearings About Iraq

Looks to me as if the effect of an Iraq discussion on the fall election is so indeterminate that no one wants to have the vote before then. The Reps just want to keep the discussion on that topic and off domestic issues; the Dems don't want to vote on it, at least for the moment, until after early November.
