Bait and switch...... TP, I think that "bait" is one part of the motivation. The other is that Bush is attempting to intimidate and terrorize the Iraqis. I would be quite interested to find out what the flight plans of these aircraft was. I bet that they were routed to provide a sense of menace and impending doom over population concentrations, both military and civilian. Just a hunch, understanding how the military mind works. -R.
