When I was commuting regularly on very busy Interstate for 25 years, one thing I learned was that commuter-time was the safest time you could ever be on the road. While everyone went 20mph or more over the speed limit, and the break-down lane was the fastest of all, everyone around you was a highly skilled and experienced driver. Nothing you did could surprise or panic them, and vice-versa.. No Sunday gawkers. No eighty year-olds. No cops either, as they had the good sense to be at Dunkin Donuts for the commuting hours.

(What this has to do with the topic, I have no idea.)

In a car you can really hurt someone.

I do not get the connection.

what are you going to do here? Run someone over with a word? Shoot them with a syllable?
