Best game I ever saw at the Stick (other than any win over Dallas) was a December 1990 Monday night 7-3 win over the NY Giants, ending with Phil Simms and Lott in each other's faces.

I thought Phil Simms was injured and Jeff Hostedler was at QB.

Maybe not.

But Hos was the one who played in that Super Bowl win over the Bills, that year. Perhaps the best Super Bowl ever played (in my biased opinion).

At least until last year. <g>

Then again wasn't there a Denver Super Bowl that was won with seconds left?

I'm not sure of the best game, but the ones I remember, mostly from radio/tv, are... (maybe too much tailgating to choose from actual ones, I can remember some worsts, too, HS,Big Game, Niners/Bills 80, all pouring rain).

Niner/Saints. late '80; down by about 3 TDs, they bring in their 2nd string QB, guy named Joe, for experience. Wins it in OT, starting his era.
Niners/Cowboys, twice in '81; the first, mid season, caught D by surprize, blew 'em out big time. I loved it when they got hot and got about 24 pts in 15 minutes; what a machine.

Pack/Cowboy ice bowl.

KC/?Vikes, SB4, mostly from seeing it endless times on NFL highlight films; a wired Stramm was wired..."21 toss power trap, yahoo, way to go, boys, 21 toss power trap, I told ya...".
Giants/Colts championship, pre super bowl, Ameche going into the end zone.

SB 16, our first, but I really remember the goal line stand, esp. Bunz' open field tackle on what should have been a TD; my man Hacksaw led the D. I don't remember much of the second, vs Miami; we didn't get tickets, so we paaaaartied at the usual place a few blocks from Stanferd Stadium; set off fireworks in the street, after, for all the folks leaving, til a cop stopped it.
