Dan, I see. Any benchmark Intel wins is "hijacked" by Intel. Any benchmark AMD wins is an "independent" and unbiased measurement of true performance.

I care about real-world performance, i.e. application benchmarks. I also care about "perceived performance," but that's subjective and awfully hard to measure.

What I DON'T care about is any contrived benchmark that means nothing to the average user or enthusiast. COSBI and ScienceMark fall into that "contrived benchmark" category. It's debatable whether SYSMark 2002 does as well, but AnandTech seems not to think so:
