I suppose the Carter had some good days but this account seems tilted in his favor.

Funny... I was having a similar discussion with a friend of mine this morning..

Carter is actually doing FAR MORE GOOD NOW, than he did as a president.

He was smart, but really had little concept of "realpolitik".

I continue to support his activities related to ensuring the legitamacy of electoral processes around the world. But he rates a complete zero with regard to dealing with the reality of the world in which we live.

I just wish he would keep his nose out of domestic politics such as the debate over ANWR.. He has NO business using his former position as President to sway the decision to be rendered over that issue... Especially when his facts are so wrong.
