And GE's shareholders never knew what was going on. I wonder if GE deducted Welch's living expenses
as taxes. If I were a GE shareholder, I would be furious. I'll never buy another GE product for
my home.

Welch's high-rolling life style reminds me of the life style of Enron's Kenneth Lay, Fastow and Skilling.
We always knew American CEOs received outrageous salaries compared to those in Europe but Welch's perks
take the cake.

I saw a picture in the paper where Welch was sitting next to W shortly after the Supreme Court
pushed W into the White House. A little while later I heard GE wouldn't clean up its pollution in the Hudson.
The company may have agreed to do so by now. I don't know. I thought your friends from New York might have said something about it.

What makes me angry is that these rich Republicans and company executives complain
when the minimum wage is raised. They look at people on welfare as bums. Well,
I'd put Welch, Bush and Bush's corporate cabinet into
the category of "corporate welfare bums." Their greed is endless.

Cheney made millions his last year at Halliburton but he refused to pay his own electricity bill when
he became Vice President. As I recall, he complained about the high-price of electricity. Yet, he
opened his doors to the Enron crowd and still won't tell us what he and Enron officials talked about.

If you ever need to point out to a kid the names of politicians who won't tell the truth, all you have
to do is to show them a picture of W and Cheney and say these people won't tell the American
people the truth about what went on when Cheney's energy committee met with Enron officials.
