Because Jesus was a Jew and although they reject him Muslims also do not recognize the divinity of Jesus Christ. To them he is just another prophet. Jesus was a Jew because there was no other choice at that time. God had not yet delivered His message to the prophet Muhammad (peace be with him). Muslims DO recognize the Divine nature of Christ's message, just not that He was the Son of God. Direct quote from my research. ...Thus, many Christians are suspicious of Muslims. Christians value life - Muslims value death. Christians value forgiveness - Muslims teach hatred, intolerance and death to the unbelievers (taken straight out of the Koran). Jews and Christians both share the Old Testament. Christians value the resurrection upon which their faith in Christ is based. Jesus was the Son of God and the one and true prophet. Muslims have only themselves to blame for their sorry lot in life. It's an intolerant and hateful religion that is based on the writings of a person with a very questionable background and unsavory morals. Muslims picked a real winner in Muhammed. David.
