Albert, Israel will re-act, conventionally or otherwise. For the Desert Storm there was a co-olation in which many Arab States participated. The price was to keep Israel out!
Now there is no co-olation, president Bush stands nearly alone in war against Iraq. There is a sea of hostility against the US action, so Bush doesn't have to please any one! Bush would just use the threat of Israel involvement. No co-olation? Fine, then we are not going to stop Israel to retaliate. In case of Saddam's use of germ warfare or gas against the US or Israel, in any case the response will be nuclear, and Albert don't think for one second that in the face of 1000's of dead in down-town Tell Aviv, or devastating attack on the US forces, the response will be nuclear.
